TV Changing Channels By Itself?

During the last couple of weeks we've been having trouble with our TV changing channels, etc. by itself.

For example we'll be watching something and it will just start going crazy, maybe going to another channel, or pausing, speeding up, reversing.

Sometimes it will go to one of the menu options and go down and choose a new program and change to it, and then just as quickly pause or speed up.

At times we'll grab the remote, and when it pauses or reverses we'll start it back up, or fast forward it. It's almost like we're in a "duel" with it.

I'm wondering it someone else maybe in the neighborhood has Dish and our remotes are using the same frequency?

This almost always happens at night.

Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

Look in the manual and change the remote address from the default.

yeah change remote address and lock receiver just to be safe.

right now your neighbor, who has taken control of your receiver might be buying porn PPVs on your account.

We have a 722, and we're just using one remote. The one the tech setup for us. If you're saying one is designated one and one is designated as two, then I honestly don't know.

The second one is still in the package in the box.

Is the 722 hooked up to just one tv?
