    equipment needed ?

a friend has a Dish 500 with Twin LNB that currently feeds a single tuner DVR (model 500?) in the house and a single tuner older receiver in his pole barn.

He wants to get a 625 for the house.

Is there anyway he wouldn't have to run an additional feed line into the house, or would he have to get DP34 switch and run the additional line?

    thanks.

He will have to change the feed on his dish to a Dish Pro Plus LNB. This will run the 625 with only one coax cable.

yes, as long as there is a DP receiver connected as well.

If he bought a Dish Pro Plus Twin LNB would he also need a Dishpro Plus Seperator ? I'm kinda confused when i looked at the Dish Store

"When used with the Dishpro Plus 44 Switch, or Dishpro Plus Twin this product will allow you to run a Duel Tuner Receiver with a single Coaxial Cable.

DO NOT ORDER THIS PART IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A DISH PRO PLUS 44 SWITCH. IT WILL NOT WORK WITH A STANDARD DISH PRO TWIN LNB."

Can anyone provide the p/n's from the Dish Store for the LNB and seperator he would need?

    thanks.

It supports SOME of them. Check specs on Dish Website for which receivers. And NO DP receiver is needed with the DPP44 as it has its own power inserter.
