    3abn dish and motor?

    Has anyone had any luck adapting the 3 abn dish to a motor?
    what kind of modifiations are needed?

    I didnt think it needed any modifications...there is a bunch of people here who have a motor and 3ABN dish
    Directv Slimline SWM 5 LNB and DirectvWorld dish on the roof of the apartment building...Directv HR34 AKA Genie
    All FTA stuff in storage right now

    No modifications were required to install the 3ABN on the Sadoun DG-380 motor, it did require the 42mm motor tube (50 mm comes standard with the motor). Working great so far.

    My 3ABN dish was one of the earlier models and it would not fit on the SG2100 motor. I had to modify it. I had take the bracket that mounted to the pole off and I had to bolt the part that mounted to dish directly to the motor shaft. The elevation was way off from what it was supposed to be but I got it tracking th arch good.

    The newer 3ABN dishes are a perfect fit to the SG-2100.
