    ViP612 - Package Contents

    Hello!

    Just wondering what's inside the box of a ViP612. Any HDMI or Component Cables and approximate length? Ethernet Cable? etc etc.

    No component, HDMI and definitely no ethernet. You installer MAY provide a component or HDMI cable. No guarantees. Get your own to be safe. Here is where to get good, cheap HDMI....

    Just RCA jacks and a S-video cable along with a phone line a remote and batteries along with the book and channel guide

    This is what gets me angry with these companies. They provide a HD box but the only cables they give you are for SD 480i composite crud.
    Dish Network Subscriber Since March 7, 2005. Four ViP 612 DVR's with a DPP44 Switch connected to a Dish 1000.4 (61.5, 72.7, 77) Eastern Arc Setup.
    RoadRunner Earthlink Cable Subscriber since November 2001. Netlfix Member Since July 9, 2010.
    Dish Network please bring back the Disney HD channels. Cats are the best pets.
