    Wiring/Switch Question

    Hi Guys,

I would like to run another set of coax to a new Tivo. However, because walls have now been installed, I can no longer make a run from the main multiswitch.

    Here is my setup

3 LNB dish with 4 outputs into a Zinwell WB68.

3 pairs of coax off the Zinwell to 3 dual input Tivos (one HD, two SD)

I would like to split the dual feed going to one of the Tivos off into another set so I can add a 4th Tivo.

Is this possible and if it is, what equipment would I need? Basically I want to take a dual feed off an existing switch and split it into two dual feeds.

    Thanks

SWM can use splitters WB68s cannot be used with splitters, existing TiVos are not compatible with SWM.

Is this fourth TiVo in the same room as two of the others?

If so, you could use the four lines to them and cascade another WB68 multiswitch, thus giving you the required extra outputs. Many here report that cascading WB68s may not always work.

You must find a way to run additional wires from the WB68 to the new location.

I suppose you could install a second dish, but that's usually a pretty hard sell.
