It probably won't move a C-band dish without additional hardware, though.
Dish 1000.4 Eastern Arc dish, ViP 622 with broken HDMI port, Onkyo 606 receiver, Samsung 46" LCD
GeoSatPro 90cm dish, Sadoun PowerTech DG-280 motor, DMS Avenger PLL321S-2 LNBF, Amiko Alien 2 receiver

Jim S, What additional hardware would be necessary? Is this because the C-band dish is bigger in size.?

    ADVERTISING BOX

    Jsmarc02,

The motor or positioners of C-Band dishes usually require 36V for power. Most FTA receivers do not supply this, so you need to add a V-Box or G-Box or something of the like. These "boxes" convert the DiSEqC motor positioning commands to something that the motor on a C-Band or "BUD" dish can use. Basically it is a "go-between" or power converter in a manner of speaking.
