    Recycling Receivers

A local charity is offering free recycling of electronic equipment and I would like to get rid of 2 old DTV receivers (over 10 years old). My question is, what should I do with the Access Cards? Can they be used again in the future or should I destroy them? They were deactivated many years ago.

    Thanks for any help.

Destroy them. If the receivers were going to be used again they would need to get new cards anyways.
