DECA to xbox 360
My Xbox 360 is next to my receiver and was wondering if you could hook up the DECA to the xbox. I use wireless for the xbox but it has lag time every so often

No reason why not, but I think you'd have to buy an extra DECA unit or put in a switch between the deca unit and your receiver and xbox.
Directv might not support that configuration either.

It is highly recomended not to mix other devices into your DECA cloud. The DECA network is designed specifically for multiroom viewing. Add other stuff into that and you will lose performance. Also DECA clouds are much more limited than traditional networks, I think the max is 16 devices.
You would be better to run cat5 or get a xbox wifi adapter.

If it's anything other than the HR24, connect a switch to the output of the DECA adapter, and send one cable to the X-box and one to the HR receiver. As Jason said, this is not recommended because you are "clouding" the DECA cloud. It will slow performance of MRV. It will give you internet and network connectivity to your x-box if you have your router connected to the DECA network via another DECA adapter and power supply...

I figured if he was using the xbox, he wouldnt be watching mrv tv at the same time, but maybe he's got other people living in the house!

Deca acts more like a hub then a switch and I really dont have the strength today to explain why that is bad for non receiver devices.
