    NES and Widescreen TVs

We hooked up an old NES to our Sony 30" Widescreen today. Found out really quick that the Zapper will not work right with a widescreen, hehehe.

Ah the old school games. The memories. Just this last Christmas my family was reminicing over a game we got from "Santa" one year. The game was Klax. My dad suffered from carpel tunnel in his tumbs (seriously) for several months after that holiday break.

Widescreen in and of it self I don't think would stop the game from working. Was your TV HD or non-CRT based? I think those would have more to do with it then being wide screen.

    Nope, it's a CRT based 30" widescreen.

I haven't played NES in a long time. I used to love it and still think it has some of the best games. I tried to get mine out one day a few months ago but can't remember what happend think I couldn't find the cables or something.
