You need a different dish to get all 3 sats in the west(or the east for that matter). All your LOCAL channels (via sat) are on 61.5 so you don't want to move that dish. Now you need a good tech out there to see if he can find a good place to put you a new EA dish or will he have to see if he can hit all 3 WA sats & leave 61.5.

Got it. Thanks for all your help guys. If there's a link anywhere to a list of exactly what HD channels are on the 72.7 satellite, I'd be much obliged. Thanks again.

Thanks Darrell! That is exactly what I was looking for. Funny thing is, there are HD channels I'm getting now from 61.5 that show up as "Not available" on the 72.7 bird! None of this makes much sense to me, and I'm certainly not going to be in any big rush to have them point my dish toward a new sat. that won't have all the channels I'm currently getting. Time to sit back and enjoy what I have now until the snow is all off the roof and the leaves are filling the trees to see just exactly what my line of sight is (or isn't).

01-17-2011 02:04 PM #11Dish is in the process of moving channels from 61.5. They usually test the uplink a while and then do the switch. They also have to wait on DIRECTV to surrender the transponders. So, it should eventually happen.
