    It is a data satellite receiver that enables theft of subscription services when connected via an RS232 cable to an enabled satellite receiver.

    .......oh.... and yes...... it is a standard MPEG2 satellite receiver......

    Let's see......... A company creates firmware to load into a receiver to allow data received from a third party provider via satellite to be transferred from the RS232 port to update the decryption keys to allow illegal reception of subscription programming........... Hmmmmmmm.......

    Yep, someone will certainly be investigated and litigation is sure to ensue followed by fines and jail time......
