I like that - it looks like Dish now has an entire transponder free on Western Arc for additional HD channels.

To start I'll say that I have no idea what I'm talking about. Did they really have all this extra space to move this many HD channels to 72.7 all this time? What are they going to do with all this new free space on 61.5? I know it still has SD on it but most of the SD was already there and now they have even more space because of the 8PSK switch.

Again, I don't really understand how this works but if they had this much extra space on 72.7 it sure seems like they have had enough room for full time HDRSNs on 72.7 for a long time now. If they didn't before there has to be enough room on 61.5 now doesn't there?

I like that - it looks like Dish now has an entire transponder free on Western Arc for additional HD channels.

I have a suggestion for DISH. From 129, move some of the many HD channels that were made unavailable to Puerto Rico customers, to this transponder on 110.
(You will make a lot of people happy, and still have space available for more HD on 129)
