Texas Tax Surcharge
I got my online DISH statement for July and they added a tax surcharge on it. Has anyone gotten a surcharge on their Directv bill?
Seeing the Texas legislature hasn't met since June 2011 and won't meet until 2013 I am wondering where the charge came from? DISH has added a $1 usage fee to Washington state customers, and I am curious if this is just another DISH fee for DISH's profit.

Located in Dallas. I don't see a surcharge on my DirecTV bill this month. My billing cycle is the 14th each month.

I was billed on 6/14 (Direct) and no surcharge was on my bill, just sales tax as usual.

Follow up with State Tax Office THIS IS NOT A TEXAS TAX it is another DISH sneaky fee. It appears to be the same as the $1 fee added to Washington State accounts.
