NBC-25 in Flint Mi video and audio out of sync
I have a dish rec 722 connected to a sony digital surround rec. str de425. The video and audio are out of sync only on NBC channel 25. It used to be out of sync only on CBS channel 5,but that has disappeared. Is there a correction I can make to correct this?

Jim5506 is correct, but also contact the engineering department at the station. There are digital flags to keep the audio and video in sync and they could be getting dropped anywhere including when they leave the station on the way to Dish. It could also be in your receiver. But the station and Dish will work together to verify that all is well along the line first. Dish will always respond to the station when an issue is reported by them.

Probably channel 25's fault. The worst channel in the Flint market. They're always screwing something up! There should be an adjustment in your Sony receiver to compensate.
