Receiver Satellite Selection and Formatting

Major problem with my H23-600 receiver... How do I change satellite type?

I am setting up a satellite at my tailgate... At home, I have a 5LNB Multiswitch with an H23-600 HD receiver. I bought a 3LNB SWM satellite (with accompanying power inserter), but when I plug in the box, I am unable to find a signal. When I navigate to the satellite setup page, I am able to attempt changing the satellite to selection 17:slimline 3S, but immediately following the receiver tries to validate, and is unable due to no signal.

How do I reset my receiver? Do I do this while it is plugged into my home network? I have tried pressing the red button while connect to my rev setup.

Any help is much appreciated!

Your H23 should automatically detect the SWM dish, when you connect it to the dish. But the reason you don't have a signal is almost certainly because you are not aligning the dish correctly. How are you doing the alignment?
