What's the difference between the "ME" type and the ultra HD type.
What is the difference between the "ME" line of AZBox and the others such as Premium and Ultra? Looks like the ME types don't have WiFi. And they have the tuner built onto the board whereas the other have sockets into which you plug your tuner(s). But both lines can do DVB-S2 Mpeg4 HD and just about any other type on the satellites, right? Anything else I should think about? Can anyone give me the rundown of differences? Thanks.

The main difference is:
- a new Sigma processor (faster)
- more memory
- three boot partitions
- e-sata connection
- only one tuner
- recovery mode.
- Android in the near future (??)
- OpenAZBox is developing AZbrowser (webbrowser)
That pretty much should sum it up.

09-05-2012 07:19 PM #4I have another question about the Me. I've heard that they finally got the blind scan working pretty well (under Aztrino anyway), but I haven't heard how fast it is. Could somebody time a scan of 97W Ku and post how long it takes?
