    Composite cable

I bought a Slingbox solo yesterday but I misplaced the composite cable. I have 2 here but neither work. Video is garbled and audio has a nasty buzzing sound so I assume they are wired differently. What is the pin out for the A/V jack on the back of the MicroHD? The Slingbox works fine on my openbox so nothing wrong with it.

It looks like it's the standard composite cable. Yellow is video, Red (Right) and White (Left) are audio.
I have it connected to an old computer monitor that has a composite jack.
I'll try connecting it to my Slingbox PRO-HD later on today using the composite jack as the microHD does not have a component input and the Slingbox does not have an HDMI input...

I would appreciate that. It's possible that these aren't standard. I think they came with my video cameras. I'm wondering what the tips of the jack goes to, yellow, red, white on the microhd. Then I could check the continuity.

I used a DMM to check the continuity.Click image for larger version.

Video and Audio from the microHD work fine on my Slingbox PRO-HD.

My pin outs are the same however my ground ring appears to be shorter than yours. I will look for a different one.

Unfortunately, there is no industry standard for TRRS (Tip, Ring, Ring, Sleeve) configurations like there was for TRS (Tip, Ring, Sleeve) earphone jacks.

Attached is the microHD AV plug diagram that will be included in the next Owners Manual.
