    This will help in getting the LNBF to the exact focal point as you will findout thet the arm may not be correctly positioned. The tightness of the bolts holding the arm affects the position of the arm even though there are the side braces. You will also notice on the dish specs that their 1m dish is 1m effective aperture. It is actually 1.05m x 1.14m (unlike a lot of 1m dishes)

    In years gone by, a lot of "FTA" dishes were measured by their height.
    That is NOT the aperture!
    So quite often, same advertised size commercial dishes did better 'cause they were actually bigger.

    All the 1m and 1.2m FTA dishes are honest, as far as I've noticed.
