vip 211k
I have had to give up my VIP 612 used in our rv when my wanted a Hopper. I have connected the 211 to my Dish 100.2, but I only receive 119. Any suggestions?

Have you removed the DPP Separator from the RV setup? Did you run a Check Switch?

Thanks. I have removed the separator, but have not run a switch check. The switch does not recognize 110 or 129, what kind of problem might have?
Thanks again,
Tom

You have to do a switch test to have the receiver see what satellites are connected.

11-19-2012 10:54 AM #6A switch test is kind of a limited name for what it does. It essentially is a test that sees what it can talk to at the other end of the cable. It first establishes what switch if any to which it is talking. Then it tells the switch to switch to a port and then it sees if it can talk to a dish LNB on that port. Then if it finds an LNB it listens for a satellite signal to see which satellite is there. Then it goes to the next port on the switch. This is how the receiver builds a list of which satellites it can receive.
