I have an HR22 from a friend??

My buddy gave me this receiver...He built a new home and says he doesn't need it....Doesn't the receiver belong to to DT? If not, is it worth anything? I can see a DT sticker on box....Thx

unless its owned (which most aren't) yeah it belongs to Directv

Yeah, I see mod# and serial# plus DT sticker used to reseal box....Should I call DT or try to make a profit, if possible? (maybe just toss it)

If you call directv you will need to ask for the access card department. They'll ask for the receiver # and the card number (on the front there is a drop down door and the card is in the slot) to verify if its owned (then its yours) or leased (in which D* will want back)
