Pretty sure it does.. not completely positive. Most installers have them in the truck and will give you one if you ask

All dvrs used to come with rf remotes. You have to ask for them now like Lanarian said.

They should come with UHF remotes, but since Directv does not put the remotes in the box, it's pretty much whatever is in the installers truck.
