    Aiming --Optical Illusion??

Main one metre dish aimed at 103 West. Put a circular lnb on to aim at 110. S95 Q95. Can I get this quality aimed at edge of dish? Almost looks like I'm hitting my shaw direct dish up above. LOLClick image for larger version.

110 is quite a powerful satellite. It's entirely believable that you could get that sort of signal and quality even setup like that.

Those DBS birds are so powerful, you could probably get a signal facing the LNB directly at the satellite...without a dish!

This reminds me of the thread a while back where there were experiments such as CDs used as reflectors and others were going to try more objects to reflect the signal bet the replies to the thread stopped. I would like to see what objects people could use to receive a satellite signal. Maybe we could even have a contest for the best object.

I remember that too. In fact when I mentioned turning the LNB around, I thought of the CD reflector trick!
