If you can only find a 7 footer then that should work for you, getting a 8,10, or 12 footer would give you better coverage across the entire band in the long run, but they can be harder to locate in certain areas and may cost you more.. I can get it just fine with my dish.My question is how large a dish would I need? I have been researching this question but I've been coming up with contradictory answers.
No problem with KU 83w here. I'm using a 31" dish and motor. As a side I'm using a fixed 25" to receive Hispasat 30w with very good results except when it rains.
Openbox S9, 25” fixed at 30W with PLL321S-2 LNB. Stab 90 HH with 31” dish and PLL321S-2 LNB.
For temp test setups, 33” offset dish, Viewsat 2000, Invacom QPH-031, GT-LST40C LNBFs.
Other: OTA, CM 4221. Cushcraft Ham triband HF and ¼ wave 2 metres Ham.
northern W.Va appears at to receive a 42-43 dBW signal which, I understand, corresponds to a 80-cm dish, yes? I am confused.
BTW, I apologize for sorta waylaying the thread but I am interested in Tuff TV and I live close to Pa.
