Dolby TrueHD sound is now a reality!


Today Toshiba has officially released a firmware update for its HD DVD players. And among other things this new update enables full multi-channel decoding of the new Dolby TrueHD audio! Initially Toshiba HD DVD players were only able to decode two channels of TrueHD. From now on, all early adopters of HD DVD format can enjoy the best sound quality offered by this lossless audio format without investing money in any additional equipment. Thank you Toshiba!!!
