    AC3 with ALT-DVB

I am having trouble understanding ALT-DVB software.
    Audio OK with standard.
    But nothing on AC3 channels.
Anyone using ALT-DVB that can help me would appreciate.

AltDVB doesn't detect the AC3 settings, you have to enter them manually.
Right click on the channel, click on edit, look at the column on the right.
Someone is going to say just enter 1 number higher than the video,
and you can try it (may work more than not); but does not always work.
Best way to find the right # is to use another app, (like TSReader).

Alt-dvb detects some AC3 but not all.I use tsreader lite and progdvb for stream info.
    My problem lies in codecs.
I have several codecs, but when i look at alt-dvb direct show know filters in both audio and video everything is red except one.
I assume alt-dvb will only reconizes this codecs and and I was asking which ones should I be using?
I want both AC3 and 4.2.2 video capability.
The only way I have been able to see 4.2.2 is progdvb with elecard codecs.
I am playing with alt-dvb because I am streaming channels on my lan.
I tried progdvb for streaming but it wasn't stable.
If anyone has any suggestions ,I'am all ears.
