    Denon Repairs

    ADVERTS 1
My Denon AVR-2807 was struck by lightening yesterday. Any suggestions for a repair shop or is Denon best?
    Thanks,

Definitely forward to Denon if an authorized local Denon service shop is not available. Curious, didnt you have surge/electrical protection hooked up to it?

I had a major storm two weeks ago and electric bounced on and off 3-4x within one min. My Panamax rescued my equipment, no flaws!

    Good luck on your repair.

Dwingel, let me know how it goes and what you do. I just got the same model (AVR-2807) a couple of months ago for my birthday. Hopefully I won't ever need get it repaired.

Yes, I had surge protection and lights only blinked. strike was very close. Also took out my inverter on solar electric panel. I sent Denon to Portland autherized repair shop. They were much more willing to talk and explain than main shop in NJ.

Well, Portland shop could not affect repair so they sent it on to Denon repair in NJ. Just received it back today after two months. I'll get it reinstalled and see if it functions properly. Hope the factory repairs hold.
