While we are discussing subs (port aiming/distance discussion)
ADVERTS 1
From what i gather, firing the port into a corner can add some boominess to the sound, which isnt that big for me, my question (before I recalibrate today) is:
How far should the port be from the wall, or does it matter??
Heres a pic of what my port is aiming at, port could be setup between 27 and 40" from the wall, I could even angle the sub where the port fires directly into the corner and not the flat part of the wall. Any opinions? The wall with the coax jack is the wall we face and what is directly behind the tv.

Whoa, there. Sound engineering is above me. I think experimentation is in order.
