Thread: Denon Avr 391

I picked up one of these for my BT locally, I needed a AVR that would do dtsMA & DolbyTrueHD, I got it going last night and am so far happy with same. Not many bells & whistles but for the Bedroom and the small speakers I have it works... didn't need upconverting as my PS3, Toshiba A2 & WDTV do that. I've had a 50' hdmi cable for awhile that wasn't being utilized, it works perfectly with both my Dish 622 & Directv HR20 from the livingroom... (need to upgrade my hdmi switching in there).

Very happy with this purchase, I do need a better center speaker but I used my PS3 last night and put it through it's paces with TrueHD & dtsMA material... ('11 dts demo disc from CES, Star Trek 11, Scubasteve's demo disc from AVS, my own demo discs plus Top Gun & more...)
