Thread: Denon AVR 2112CI

Well, I picked up a 2112 for the bedroom to replace the Pioneer 1020 which has moved a couple different locations. Come to find out, the 1020 does not work with D* ESPN 3D, the H24, and the Sony 820. It did work at one time with my VT25 and HR24, with some work-arounds.

Set up was quite easy and the overlay GUI is nice. Sound is great and The Audyssey XT went well.

I almost ended up getting last year's Marantz SR6005 for a few dollars less, but just ended up with the 2112.

Now if D* would get off their B**** and broadcast in the mandatory format, no-one would be having any problems what-so-ever. They pretty much told me they have no intention of changing formats, even though they have both feeds, and I also heard a rumor they also have a 1080i SbS feed.
