Need AV surge protector recommendation
ADVERTS 1
OK, so I have a Cyberpower 1500 UPS for my two DVR's and two EHD's. I like keeping those items on battery backup for the HDD's sake, and that CP will run 100 minutes just powering those 4.
What i need, is a good recommendation for a surge protector for my 64" plasma, Marantz AVR, HSU subwoofer, and Oppo 93. When I wall mount my display this week and move my center channel out of a cubby hole, it frees this spot in the center of my stand, for a rack style.
Here are the ones Ive been looking at, help would be loved

I'm going to stay out of this one. As a EE, I have some strong opinions, but this is more a religious issue.

Consider plugging the TV and the Oppo into the surge only side of the UPS as they require relatively little power and the power demands don't fluctuate much.
For the stuff that's usage sensitive, I'd compare everything with the Belkin as it is relatively cheap and it has the highest joules rating (the only thing that counts for surges). I'm not sold on all of the noise filtering stuff.

I dont put much faith in "filtering" as well. The Panamax seem a bit pricey, and the APC H15 has stellar reviews. The Belkin is $50 less, I just dont know much about them.

Has anyone considered the A/V UPS from Monoprice? It's only $187.65

I do not. Real happy with the APC H15 so far.
