New Speakers!
ADVERTS 1
Ok, here are the new additions to the family. I was able to listen to some Klipsch Reference, and got some friendly advice from teachsac. I started figuring, why not enjoy them now, why wait for the house build

Thanks! I'm pretty excited, this is about finishing out my HT, until I can move into something bigger with a dedicated room.

It's amazing the amount of love they get. I know a lot of folks dont like the "brightness" of the horns, but...

Yes, they sound brighter than some other types of speakers, but this is not necessarily a bad thing for a home theater. Remember, in sound, the opposite to "bright" is "dull"!

Hehe. Unfortunately, it seems in most of these level speakers, music vs HT performance is often a concession. My speakers are strictly HT, and as loud as I can take. The efficiency of the speakers and the clarity of the horns are what sold me. I needed more mid bass and highs that could hang with high volume. I have a feeling the new sub, and these Klipsch speakers are gonna be a hole nother level.

So, now for the next question. Do you run them naked, or clothed
