Need Help With Wii Purchase
ADVERTS 1
Okay, so I am finally breaking down. The wife wants a Nintendo Wii with the Wii Fit stuff, so is $420 at Walmart a good deal?
The deal includes : wii console w/wii sports pack, wii fit w/balance board, a nunchuk, a controller, jillian michaels fitness game, and 1GB memory card
Walmart.com: Nintendo Wii Bundle w/ Wii Fit: Hardware
Any suggestions would help!

That's fine IMO. As long as it's at or below MSRP bundles are fine. They're like that to prevent resellers and to get people to buy games with the consoles instead of just the consoles. You're not going to find many deals on the Wii, so if the price is OK for you, then pull the trigger.
Speaking of WiiFit, I know many of us have it, we should start a 'WiiFit goals'thread and get peeps to start using it more. At least that might motivate my lazy butt onto the thing.

Looks like a decent bundle. I'd recommend getting Wii Play instead of just the controller, as it's basically a $10 game with the controller. It should be enough to satisfy the casual gamers of the household.

If you want some other ideas for games that are very good but surprisingly cheap, here's a few:

Do not get Jillians game. It sucks. I bought My Fitness Coach and that game rocks. Get them separate, the memory card is like 30 bucks for 1gb which is a terrible price. Just use one of your SD cards you have laying around from your cameras.

If you know someone who works at walmart then you can get the deal for even better with their employee %10 discount.
