Got my copy yesterday at BB with the $10 gift card promo they were running. So far the SP campaign is intense, alot better IMO over COD4. Can't wait to hit MP action.

Agreed 100% with thowe21. Single player is awesome!

The MP is intense and fast. It has a bunch of different options for classes and perks so that everyone can find what fits them best.

Got to play SP for a few mins last night when I got home. Wow! Amazing so far. I usually try to not play the MP until I've completed the SP so it doesn't give anything away. Not sure how much I like the blood covering the screen when you are hit as it makes it tough to see. Could make MP very hard. Can't wait to play some more tonight!

This game is the first FPS game I have obtained for my PS3. For years I played them on the PC. (Quake2, Half-Life variants, HL2, COD 4, MW, BF2)
Once I got semi used to the RH stick being my 'look' and the LH stick being my movement controls it was fun. If the fun continues I'm thinking I may not use a PC for gaming ever again. I have only played the Single Player mode as I want to get used to the controls before I allow the world to use me as a target.
I'm glad I picked it up."Be polite to all, but intimate with few." -Thomas Jefferson

I dunno.. so far I've found the SP mode to be rather lacking. The cheapness level seems to be up a bit where you're constantly shot by enemies you can't f-ing see, it's hard to distinguish your teammates from your enemies, the plot is really hard to believe even by videogame standards, and as far as the "airport" scene goes,
Spoiler:
I think next week will be better when Left 4 Dead 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 arrive. To be fair, I haven't finished the SP mode yet, but all I know is that the more I've been playing it, the less I've been enjoying it...Last edited by yourbeliefs; 11-13-2009 at 10:45 PM.

Ok after playing some more and getting to "Contingency," I guess that the game has grown a bit on me. There are some undeniably fun moments in the various locales, and the Special Ops mode looks like it has a good amount of potential. I still stand by my belief that the regular multiplayer is an overrated pile, but at least I'm having fun again (at least in SP for the time being.)

So what are the thoughts on multiplayer when compared to say the likes of Battlefield: Bad Company? I could give a rats about Singleplayer Campaigns. Much prefer fast andd furious run and gun with buddies. Trying to figure out if the MP is good enough to pick this one up, or if I should just wait for BFBC 2 to come out in March.
