Torchlight - Diablo Clone

Sponsored Links
Anyone playing Torchlight ?

It's a Diablo clone, dungeon crawler. Pretty good graphics, very fun, and a good time filler when your normal game isn't doing it for you.

Great features:

3 standard classes Destroyer, Alchemist, and Vanquisher. Cross training is an option with the spells.

Pets, you can choose a dog or cat. Each pet will attack, cast a couple spells and even run you loot to town and sell it!

The dungeon layout is a random one, so you won't ever play that same one twice.

The game even has a dungeon editor, allows you to come up with your own content if you like.

Retirement, allows you to "retire" a character and bestow powers on a new character.

I would recommend this one if you are a person waiting for the release of Diablo 3.

IT'S on SALE RIGHT NOW for $10. Until Jan 4.

Yeah, it's a shame there's no multiplayer, but they're using this basically to show what the MMO version will be like. They've also released the toolkit used to create all the dungeons.

Another thing on pets, you can fish in the game, and feed the fish to the pet. The pet then turns into a monster depending on the fish you feed it. Can last as little as 60 seconds, but I think there is food that last 3600 seconds too.
