Thread: What's For Lunch?

We have a Breakfast and Dinner thread so...
Continuing from the Breakfast thread, found Cornbread mix so ...
Yellow Cornbread Mix
2 Hatch Green Chiles -diced
1 Egg
2/3 cup of milk
add to greased pan
Bake for 400f 20-25 minutes(From instructions)
now to put together and try... this to go with pinto beans...

All I had was fried rice.

Just realized you left the recipe I will have to write this down.

Reduced green chiles to 1.5... still hot cornbread, but good... and with the beans excellent...

I may have to make me some corn bread for supper.

I made a big crock pot of chili

The mix package had this recipe(that I missed)
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 -6 oz mix package
1/3 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/3 cup cream style corn
1 tablespoon chopped onion
2 tablespoons chopped fresh jalapeño chile's...

Excellent with corn bread also...

More like brunch for me but...
Sausage, Hamburger & Gravy

Sausage (abput 2 patties worth)
2/3's of a lb. of lean Hamburger
brown above, remove meat add flour for gravy and brown...adding salt and pepper if wanted, add milk...
mix the meat in when gravy is just about ready...
