As the title states I'm interested in meals out of the ordinary but by that I mean meals that you've prepared in out of the ordinary locations such as camping or at work or on vacation away from home.

Was working cows and branding Calfs... we threw Mountain oysters into the fire till they popped then ate...

Oh my!!! I've done rattlesnake at these things in NM but not oysters....

Forgot that I had started this thread.
My father showed us ( scouts ) how to cook an egg in an orange peel. Basically he cut an orange in half then scooped out the good stuff and used the rind as a cup pouring in two eggs and cooking it over a fire. I had to ask him when would a scout find himself stranded in the Florida country side with a carton of eggs and not be within walking distance of a days in motel.
