Hi I don't have the instructions for this and I was trying to set it up. Where do I position the 0 setting on the LNBF to set my base skew? I am also not sure how to put the dielectric plate inside. There is a piece of tape on it and I was not sure if this stays on it. How far do I put the plate inside of it?

I was actually going to try and scan in 40.5w which is Circular. There is a piece of tape on it and I am not sure how far to put it in the LNBF.

Ah, ok, I have never tried getting anything off of 40.5W. Might ask in the FTA forums, but I would stick it in there just far enough to put the cover on to start with and give it a whirl, experiment with the depth if you don't get anything.
I will be interested to see what you get.C-Band: 10' "Perfect 10" mesh/CalAmp Mini-Mag*** 8.5' Birdview solid/GeoSat C2*** 7.5' Unimesh***180 cm Fortec Star...C-Band LOS from 58W-139W

A blind scan of Nss 806 usually scans in about 20 channels using a linear lnbf. Unfortunately some of the channels scan in on both polarities because of the lnbf. If you manually input the tp info, you should be able to scan in about 40 channels. The last time I scanned that sat with a wideband feed, there were approx. 100 open channels.
