Robbie do I need the dialectic plate dmx741

Robbie i saw in another post that the dialectic plate doesnt matter. is this true? i will be putting this on the dish i got from ya. should i take it out? and i have a diseq already setup will this need to be removed when i hook up the dmx741? i have all the other receiver settings recorded when i hook it up. thanks Robbie you guys are great.

Hi,

It depends on the satellite you are trying to point to. If it's a linear satellite, then no, you do not need the
dielectric plate

. If you are trying to point to a circular C band satellite, then yes, you will need to insert and use the dielctric plate.

Keep in mind that once you insert the dielectric plate, you will NOT be able to use the LNBF as linear and vise-versa.
