Received a couple of emails from customers and a call asking the same questions, I figured I'd post it on the forum for easy reference.

This is how you wire the WS International 741 or 741U CKu LNBF:

If you want to either A: Use an external switch ( 22KHz switch or DiSEqC switch) or B: your receiver has a separate input for C and Ku, you would basically run two separate lines from the combo C & Ku LNBF. The port at the very end of the LNBF is your Ku port, and the port on the side marked "LNB" is your C band port.

To use the internal switch (741 uses 22KHz switch and 741U uses a WS4120 DiSEqC switch) to run a single coaxial cable for both C and Ku band, you will need to use the jumper cable supplied and connect the Ku port at the top to the "LNB" port on the side. Then you can run only a single coaxial cable from your receiver to the "RCV" port of the LNBF. This will activate the internal switch.

**Please make sure that you have your receiver powered off, from the main shot off switch before connecting any coaxial cables to the LNBF. 99% of the failures we see (either blown internal switch or blown LNB) is caused by this.
