    DMX 741U doesn´t work on Ku & C band

    ADVERTS 1
I bougth a DMX741U, to replace my DMX242 (working great), but only got a radio station in C band and nothing in Ku.
My dish has a f/D: 0.4 and mounted the 741U in number 4 marking on the side of the LNB´S & cero marking at the top. (inside the 1/4" bar was in horizontal position).
Also connected the small coaxial cable between the top & "LNB" connection, and plug my receiver on the RCV connection.
In my azboz prem+ setup for DiseqC 1.0 (LNB 1= C band, LNB 2 = Ku band).

I Don´t know why my new DMX741U is not working.

    Please need some help.,

Mine works great, but I don't like the internal switch. I run two lines to a external switch. Also with the 741 make sure your skew "0" setting it at 12 o clock or 6 o clock. I have a 242 also and it has to be at 3 o clock to work right. So if you have it like your 242, give it a quarter turn.

Also I'm sure you have done this but make sure you have your LNB set up as Universal in your ant setup menu, for the Ku side.

Thank´s , I´ll try and test next weekend the individual lines, one from the "LNB" (C band) to the receiver and then the other from the Ku band(top) to the receiver. I have the 741U "0" skew to 12 o clock , also my 242 has been at same "0" skew working rigth. Maybe the 741U internal switch and/or the small coaxial cable are the cause of the problem.

    I´ll let you know results.

with the 741 U, No luck this weekend connecting by individual lines, again no C & Ku signal, reinstall my 242 working great. Just read that the 741U is for dishes sizes up to 10 ft, mine is 16.4 ft (5mts), f/D: .4, maybe this is the problem, but why the 242 is working ok ?.
