Cool. Now that you have it networked thats when the code will show. Not exactly sure their formula or timing but getting it networked and on the net is step 1.
I don't know this for sure, but maybe it will show up after the most receint update (tonight) .
Others have said that D* can now see that you have CE info on your unit now that it's networked.
Don't know that I like the idea that D* can see the connection, unless the info is sent to them thru the datastream, which I hadn't considered but could very well be how they know.
I would think not seeing the datastream only works one way (incoming) at least the last I knew it was that way.

I know I've seen it somewhere , but does anyone know what the numbers on the TV on the right mean.
Mine are currently 78/000c/197/02/0110
I know that the 197 was the previous version of software and I would guess that some of it is in hex format (000C) I think it is anyway, been way to long since I dabbled in that stuff.
And what about the stuff on the left as well ?

Man I am having trouble grabbing it tonight...
I reboot and as soon as I see the blue light come on I am pressing 0 2 4 6 8 but nothing.
Any tips?

Wow... It has been 19 minuets now, and after the initial download, the receiver has rebooted for the third time, and is now downloading satellite info. This is a long one.
I look at the power light on the unit. I dont look at the screen. As soon as the power light comes on, then 0 2 4 6 8. Check your remote that its on Directv mode.
No. That should not have impact on code. Its timing, speed, or not right remote mode.

I had no problem.. same as always. Just make sure to be deliberate in typing the code. 0 one thousand, 2 one thousand, etc...
Same here. Just as I typed this, shot up to 97%.
Edit: Now stuck at 100%. If this is taking sooo long, this must have some major updates. Hopefully, VOD
Edit 2: Up and rebooting.
Wait till the Blue screen comes up and says ... can't remember.
Almost there I think, I generally press the buttons after the Blue screen comes back on , about 1-2 seconds after.

It finally came back up, and as I went into the menu to see what has changed, she froze on me. I am resetting her now.
Thats normal ...
There are a few places that it normally looks like it's hung up, but it's not, it's just doing it's thing in the background.
