Can someone point me to a wiring schematic of the single wire system.

I am looking for how it would be wired like sat to swm to ?
I have been wanting a mrv systems for a long time and the new dish hopper will not work for me .
3 HDTV so I would want one hr34, one hr24 one h25 or h24 what ever they give me.

Thanks

you will definitely need a swm 16 since if you go over 8 tuners. right now you would have 8. the HR34 -5 tuners, HR24- 2 tuners, H25 1 tuner.

here's a swim 16 setup

Thanks this help me understand it a little.
So lets see if I got this right :)
currently two wires in from dish one to bedroom and one to front room where my in house splitters are
the tech could mount the swm outside use one port on it on the wire to the bedroom and feed the hr34
then use one port on the swm on the wire to the front room to the thing that looks like a splitter.
then out of it to feed the hr 24 and the h25 and the internet connecter and the power supply does that sound right?

Well in your case since its 8 tuners they'll use a swm lnb. One wire from the sat dish to a green labeled splitter. All Dvrs and receivers connect to that green splitter. Pick a line to attach the power supply and that line goes connected where the coax input is colored red. The power supply is 21 volts. A 29 volt supply is used for a swim 16 setup.Your setup will look more like post #6

Hello rey_1178,

In the diagram with the 4 way splitter feeding the 2 way splitter and then to the power inserter out to the cinema connection kit / deca bb adapter I am curious if the path could change from the 4 way splitter to the power inserter to the 2 way splitter and then out to the cinema connection kit / deca bb adapter. To me it looks like an alternative way of wiring. Is there any possible problem(s) with wiring it up as an alternative to the pictured example?

i don't see why you couldn't do that.

Hello rey_1178,

Thank you for your response. I appreciate it. The main reason that I posted the question is to let others know that the wiring should be used as a guide and not necessarily the only way to configure your wiring due to differences in the way your abode (house, apartment etc) was constructed. Some people are fearful of changing anything from that they have seen even thought a change could be easier or possibly work better in their individual circumstance.

you're welcome. the only wires that can never be switched are the ones at the power supply. one goes to the receiver and the other to the switch. where it says swm goes to the switch. ird signal goes to the receiver.
