I was going to start a poll for this question but I'm apparently not smart enough to know how to start a poll. So I'll just ask. I know there's been a few threads about losing AMC and Dish giving customers Roku's and discounts in order to watch another way. But I haven't really heard anyone say how they actually plan to watch. If your using the Roku will it be with Netflix, Amazon VOD, or Hulu Plus. And there's always through iTunes. I have all of those options but just can't decide which one to use. How about you guys?

Thank goodness. Such polls just breed a lot of off topic nonsense. Only option for next day is Amazon and iTunes.

Merged since they are pretty close in topic. :)

Actually I read through this thread before I started my own. And there's very little talk of what service people will be using to watch (which is what I would like to know). Almost all of this thread consist of people discussing the email they received from Dish and what kind of deal they received from Dish. That's not what my post was asking. I think the title of this thread doesn't really go along with the discussions taking place.

Amazon for me.Worked very well on the roku with breaking bad in hd.So it will be my choice for h o w,as well. You can also do a season pass and save a little dough. The only thing i don't like about either of them is having to wait till the next day.

Will be amazon for me once mad men starts up, wife enjoys the show as well amazon makes most sense for us to catch it on tv

I took Dish up on their $30 off my bill offer to pay for Breaking Bad last month. I called them again for Hell on Wheels since I got a postcard reminder and was told the $30 credit was a one-time-offer. Instead they said I could have $7 off my bill for six months. I took that but asked what was going to happen in October when Walking Dead comes on. Will Dish still offer some sort of discount to pay for that show as well? The retention rep said he didn't know but that offers change every month.

I do wonder how cost effective it is for Dish to keep handing out $30 discounts instead of just keeping the channel. :/

I'm not watching this show. But if I were to want to watch it, I would go via Project Free TV (Google it). That's how I've been watching that other show that's been airing.

That looks like a great website. I just wish those videos would play on my iPad so I could watch on my apple tv.

I think there is really only two choices, if you want to see it this week. Amazon and Itunes. Otherwise switch providers or wait for it to come to Netflix.

there's also Illegal methods to watch, but i wouldn't suggest you to watch it that way as they are illegal, whether if it's a illegally posted video of the episode on a website that commits copyright infringement, a bit torrent site with he illegal video or the p2p network downloading or other ways to download it illegally.

so to avoid the trouble of the illegal way, just stick to spending money or watch it online (with the online ads) as the only way to watch it legally.
