How many OTA tuners can a Hopper have

Can you hook 2 up and record 7 programs at the same time, or can it only handle 1 OTA tuner?

PTAT is however available at all times now so the BIg Four can all be recorded at once on a single tuner anytime you want.

With the new technology the answer to that is misleading. There are three actual tuners per Hopper, and an OTA tuner if you want one, making total of four. But unlike in the past that's not the whole story as 3Halo0DS posted. Because with PTAT you can record all four networks during prime time on one tuner, effectively giving you 7 channels to record at once, with an OTA tuner.

fuzzy is correct...all four nets/their local carrier channels, can be recorded on one tuner, any time since 238.

Really more like since 244... With 238 even though all of the Big Four could be viewed at once, there was still a restriction of only 3 at a time could be recorded on SAT (4 with OTA.)
