Dish is getting FXX

Good find and I'm probably just being whatever ...but when I put in my zip and look at the 4 providers...dish is the only one with out a ch number

I'm sure no biggie but I came across that and was curious

Well I'm pretty sure Fox Sports Soccer will become FXX and DISH may move the channel closer to FX when it launches which could be the reason why there is no channel number listed. Or this could be some sick game that Fox is playing by just listing providers and saying "good news you're good to go" so people will be angry when it launches and they don't get it. I don't see the second scenario though as I'm sure DISH picked up FXX when they picked up the more expensive Fox Sports 1 and I believe there was a total of three TV providers on the list on the getfxx site.

For the record, folks, Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2, and FXX are not different channels that Dish was choosing to add or not add. Dish has all three. Fox is rebranding Speed, Fuel and Fox Soccer to those channels. And, as of now, each channel is planned to stay at the same channel location as the former channel. That could always change, of course, but for now...same location in the lineup.

That's no surprise. Fox Soccer Channel, channel 390 on Dish, is being repurposed by Fox and rebranded FXX. It's not a "new" channel. The question is whether Dish will move FXX somewhere closer to FX like 125 or 126. QVC will not be moving from 137. I can almost guarantee it.

Just FF to 9/2 and at 7:00 am on Ch 390 it shows fxx programming...Wed it also shows It's always sunny and THE LEAGUE!!!...so far so good...we will see for sure in 6 days

Dish has already said FXX will be in DISH on launch day.

And because Fox Soccer is in had that means FXX will be in had as well.

But the real question is... what package will it be in? I'm only interested in The League, and probably won't watch this channel for anything else, so I'm not going to *RAGE* if it's not in 120+.
There's always Netflix in a year. Besides, I don't need anything else to watch this fall... I'm still watching finales from spring and catching up on summer.

Sounds like it will be in AT120 since it is replacing Fox Soccer that is in AT120. That's what Dish was saying on their facebook page the day it was announced that FS1 and FS2 would be on Dish.

FWIW, I was looking ahead in the program guide and went to fox soccer channel(soon to be FXX) channel 390 and noticed it had guide data already.

Dish is saying on their website that Fox Soccer is in AT120 but it is not as of yet. I am looking at my guide right now and it's not there.

I believe it is top 120+ not top 120. I have asked numerous people, and they even removed it on the DISH website from the 120 package, because they said it was incorrect. So my belief is that it will be 120+ and above.
