Dropping Everything Package

I'm dropping AEP now that my 18 month discount is ending. Dish's programming info across the different areas of their website has gotten inconsistent and vague. I have 3 questions:

1). What package is the NBCSports channel in and is it in HD? The programming card and the package comparison tool says it's in AT200 but only in SD. We have it in HD now so I know it exists.

2). Same thing for the CBSSports channel. What package is it in and is it in HD? The programming card says it's only in the Smart Pack only in SD but the package comparison tool says AT200 only in SD. We have it HD now so I know it's there.

3). We have HD for life. Will I still have that even if I drop down to AT200?

Thanks....

I see them both in AT200 listed as SD as well on dish website. Maybe the list them this way now since HD for life does not exist for new customers . They now have to pay the extra $10 a month after there promo of free HD runs out after 2 yr.

I would be happy to assist you! The NBC Sports Network is available in the AT200 package and higher and it is available in HD. CBS Sports Network is also available in HD and in the AT200 package and higher. If you lower your programming package to the AT200 package you will not lose HD for life.

Is BeIN in HD in any package lower than 250 now? I know when I had 200 and multisport it was in SD

I've just made the same move (dropping from AEP to AT200), and I have a question if a DIRT member or someone else knows. Did they change the Encore channel you get with the Blockbuster package? The Dish website says you get Encore Suspense with BB@Home, but I'm getting Encore Westerns instead.

Obviously person taste - but the Westerns channel is one of only a couple of channels I watch in SD. Much rather have that. I can't answer your question because although I have BB I also have Top250.

Not that I'm complaining, it would just be nice for others considering downgrading if there was accurate information about what channels you would be losing or keeping. Related: I see no mention of this on the Dish website but it also seems you get to keep Bloomberg TV in SD by dropping down to AT200, but you lose the HD feed from AT250.

Did you check the at200 hd package and see what it says?
Yes, but there's no indication you get to keep Bloomberg AT ALL by dropping down to 200 (it's not on the current Free Previews list), so I was pleasantly surprised to still see it in my guide in SD (as it isn't the type of channel I feel I need to watch in HD but it's nice to have).

I checked and compared AT200 and AT250 packages, but it's confusing since it only shows channels in SD, with just a few HD,
I know it's inaccurate since I know several are in HD between both packages, It was much better before for channel comparison
before they updated the Dish website.

You have to go in and look at the hd packages seperately. I agree that it once was better, but I can see how they liked this one more. The best one was the internal system they used to use. That thing was fantastic. That's gone too. Blah!

Can we get a dish rep to confirm Encore Westerns and Bloomberg in AT200? I trust y'all but if we can get official word that would make a compelling argument to drop down to 200 again

I think it is an anomaly on that account of mine. I just checked on our 2nd account which is my dad and stepmom's and Westerns is not available on their receivers with at200.
