Viacom is running ads all over Yahoo News saying that DirecTV is going to drop 21 channels. Guess they want a public outcry to pressure at&t.

Just an observation. It's strange to see AT&T play both sides of the coin in different disputes. I don't remember seeing nearly as much of that when Liberty owned DirecTV and some networks.

that will give you a good excuse to move your mom to Dish. Be sure to use the refer a friend and save her a little money. We went to dish on Jan 1 of this year right before the new price hike. I had a feeling it was going to be a bad year for directv.. When I tried to cancel Directv they gave me $90 off a month for 12 Months. I don't really use it anymore but I set it to a package that generates no bill. lol It will be fun to watch what happens next. I think you can kiss Viacom goodbye from directv from what I have been reading and seeing.

I see the message on Comedy Central for a minute or so, bouncing around the screen ... that different from the crawl ... and 10 times as annoying.

Curious, do they run them thru commercials as well as programming, thers so much commercials on that I may miss the notice. (I flipped to Discovery about 4-5 minutes ago and have yet to see programming.
