I thought "Leonard" was going to join the cast of "The Connors"?
Leonard probably not, as it would clash with Darlene and Leslie in the same universe. Johnny might make guest appearances through the season but I don't see a permanent role until TBBT ends.

That's what the quotes around "Leonard" meant, referencing the actor, not the character. He probably couldn't remember the actor's name.

I do wonder if CBS orders a spin off with Penny and Leonard as they start a family. I doubt it would last but CBS will milk this cow as long as possible.

Also how long is The Conners ordered for. If they have a second season Johnny could make more appearances.

Galecki is quite wealthy at this point. While he might be willing to do the occasional guest shot out of loyalty to the cast and maybe hte producers but I doubt he would eb willing to do much more unless he could earn much mire than most 3rd or 4th bananas make.

Exactly. Thanks. The reason that I mentioned it was I thought I saw an article about it. I googled and there are indeed several articles with loos headlines like Galecki to appear in Connors. But in looking closer it was just the guest appearance. Sorry for the confusion.

After giving up on the show two years ago, I decided to watch the finale. I made it to the elevator and turned it off. I cannot stand Melissa Rauch, I especially cannot stand Mayim Bialik. I cannot stand the characters of Bernadette and Amy. Their voices, their faces, their mannerisms, everything about them annoys me and I could not make it through the whole episode since those two were in it.

Well Ear Demon, if there were a dislike button on this site, I would have used it on your post. All of the characters have more depth now than ever, while retaining all of the humor. Sorry that you can't see that.

Good thing I don't give a hoot what people on the internet think or about 'likes' and 'dislikes'.

The show has been terrible for years and ran its course. Main reason I watched it as long as I did was because of the rumors it would end at season 10.

It was great when it first started, and I was a loyal viewer for years and still watch the first few seasons in syndication. It was a great show, then it turned into Friends and relationship drama.

Staff on the show stated a few times over the years that Penny's maiden name would never be reveled. The elevator being fixed was obvious along with and I'm guessing Penny announcing she's pregnant, with Lenard saying 'our babies will be smart and beautiful' as he did in the pilot and they happen to play that clip in the beginning of tonight's episode.

One thing I've never been able to is find an explanation for this. I originally saw The Big Bang Theory pilot a little over a month before it aired on CBS. I was working nights at the time, and when I got home from work at 2 or 3 in the morning on a night in late August 2007, I was channel surfing and I think it was Discovery Channel that I landed on and it was airing BBT. Of course I had no idea what it was, but I tuned in at the very beginning where Lenard and Sheldon were at the sperm bank, I missed the theme song, if it even had one. After watching for 5 minutes I was instantly hooked, I remember reading the synopsis for Big Bang during the upfronts and thought it sounded dumb. A few weeks later I started seeing previews for it on CBS and wondered if was what I saw that night, so I set a recording for it and sure enough it was the same thing I saw a month prior. When I saw it in August, it had no programming information in the guide and was listed as Paid Programming.

Anyone ever to bother to watch the unaired pilot?

I liked when it was about nerds dealing with life and dealing with women when they said this is the new friends I stopped watching it.

So they named Stage 25 The Big Bang Theory Stage. They now set up 4 of the characters to have families. Could we see a new series in a year or 2 with Leonard & Penny, Howard and Bernadette as parents.
