Brief outage this afternoon also on both WA and EA, no problem now however.
 
I am not talking about thunderstorms.. There are no storms in Los Angeles County..

OMG, ok follow along. the storms in Cheyenne are what is affecting your signal because that is where your signal is uplinked from. It doesn't matter if there isn't a cloud in the sky where you live, if the signal can't go up, then there is no signal to come down to your dish

They are talking about thunderstorms at the uplink facility in Cheyenne, WY. If there are storms bad enough to cause issues at the uplink point, then that affects the satellites you get your signal from. ;)
