if you mean like the Remote and tv2 signal, i would agree they should have that on the same cable to make things easier. but some people might not need the remote 2 transmitter next to their tv2 (for some reason)

thanks Randall so then will my current setup work with the remotes? Like currently I have the remote extender in the kitchen. That means I wil have to get 4 to 1 splitters on each end?

forgot to mention that my lnb is dual, and i am pretty sure thats its legacy. woudl i be able to work with that and the separator?(that came with the dish)

no its only 61.5 i dont mean extended extended guide, just like 1 day ahead even while when i connect just my single dish wire to the reciver it will update the guide (although dvr features wont work)
